ACTIVITIES
Our 2020 year was largely cancelled by the COVID-19 pandemic but while we were not able to meet for most of the year, we were still able to begin our Regent's Project. During the fall , we bought backpacks and stuffed them with small throws, plushies, coloring books, notebooks, crayons, pencils, and a variety of toiletries. No two bags were quite alike and were for boys and girls of all ages. We were finally able to deliver them to our selected beneficiary, The Dawn Center here in Brooksville. The Dawn Center is the Domestic and Sexual Abuse Shelter for Hernando County and we know that our 32 backpacks are going to a very worthy cause and hope that they bring a little happiness to the children who receive them.
